After weeks of vacation, Bungie has released another Bungie News Post this week. Although there was no word on Savathun’s Throne World trailer a few days ago, Bungie answered an important question about the current content.
Bungie said Bungie 30th Anniversary event activities will not enter the Destiny Content Vault when The Witch Queen is released. In fact, he said, the activity will remain in the game until 2022. He also explained that this applies to both free and paid content. Free Magic Horse Neighborhood, a six-player activity rewards daredevils players with treasure keys to earn extra loot on Xur’s treasure hoard. Avarice Dungeon’s Grip, Exotic Rocket Launcher Gjallarhorn Quest, and Exotic Sidearm Forerunner Quest are part of the paid Bungie 30th Anniversary DLC.
Since those activities won’t go anywhere in Year 5 of Destiny 2, that means the Bungie 30th Anniversary Seal, Vidmaster, will still be available. Don’t confuse it with the MMXXI Triumphs Seal as Moments of Triumph 2021 ends when The Witch Queen launches on February 22.
